Emily Brown

Emily, grand-daughter of David and Trish, has grown up on the farm.
After school she spent a number of years at Furnace Mill before moving on to expand her knowledge of the industry and complete The English National Stud Diploma Course, in the process winning the Tim Dunlop Award for overall top student.
Following the course she spent a season on the foaling unit at Coolmore Australia and two seasons at Newsells Park Stud as Barn Manager. She was foaling attendant at Barton Stud, before travelling back to Australia to work at the sales for top consignor Lime Country Thoroughbreds, followed by a breeding season with Aquis Farms as Foaling Unit Manager.
Emily is passionate about every aspect of the farm, from preparing yearlings for the sales to breaking-in or caring for the newborn foals and their mothers.
We are delighted to have her back with all of her new found skills.

Samantha Walker

Sam has been a key and valued member of the team for nearly 25 years having arrived at Furnace Mill fresh out of school. She was Head Girl for a number of years but felt when she had her two daughters she would like to take a step back and have more time to spend taking her girls to shows up and down the country, to which they have had huge success with wins at The Royal international and placings at HOYS.
Sam is here weekday mornings.

Sarah joined the team after graduating in Equine and Veterinary Bio Science from Aberystwyth University.
Her favourite part of the job is prepping yearlings for the sales and seeing just how far they come on.
In September she is off to South Africa to volunteer with a Rhino conservation project.
